A city that remembers

The streets of Ashfall are more than scenery. They hold earlier versions of the characters: the corner where a goodbye happened, a window still lit, the place they swore never to return to.

In this example notebook, red connects those images. Sometimes it means anger; sometimes, the possibility of letting someone close. A simple question guides the scene: what changes when we look at a familiar place with new eyes?
