This notebook begins with a question: what happens before a story finds its first sentence?
Discarded scenes, relationship maps and details that may never make it into a novel live here together. A café opening too early. An interrupted conversation. A name on the back of a photograph.
The project invites you inside the writing process. Its moodboard gathers paper and light; its playlist accompanies working sessions; its notes preserve decisions, doubts and small discoveries. Everything can change while the world takes shape.
Some sentences arrive before their characters. Fragments is an archive that gives them time: short scenes, possible beginnings and voices we do not quite know yet.
Someone returns to an empty station. Someone else saves a message without replying. Two strangers recognise the same song. Each fragment opens a door and pauses just before stepping through it.
There is no need to read this notebook in order. Explore the images, listen to the music and use the quiz to choose the kind of beginning you would like to find. The notes show how an image can slowly become a scene.
For now, this world fits on a table: a few photographs, an unfinished map and a list of questions. Who lives here? What do they protect? What would they be willing to lose?
The first step is to find its atmosphere. Dawn blue, damp stone and a light beyond the window suggest somewhere that feels familiar, even though it does not yet have a name.
This is a space for exploration, free to change direction. Its Pinterest board, soundtrack and notes accompany the first scenes of a world still waiting to be discovered.
